Salary Details
Rs. 32100-82900/-, Pay Level : 10.
Educational Qualification
Assistant Translator (Bengali) :

  • A second class Master’s or Honours degree in English or in Bengali of a UGC recognized University.
  • Ability to make translation from English into Bengali.

Assistant Translator (Nepali) :

  • A second class Master’s or Honours degree in Nepali of a UGC recognized University.
  • Ability to make translation from English into Nepali.

Assistant Translator (Santhali) :

  • A second class Master’s / Honours degree in English or in Santhali of a UGC recognized University.
  •  Master’s / Honours degree in English (Santhali as an elective subject at Graduation Level) or Master’s/ Honours degree in Santhali (English as an elective subject at Graduation Level).
  • Ability to make translation from English into Santhali.
Age Limit
Maximum age 39 Years as on 1st January 2023.
Selection Process
Written Examination, Interview and Document Verification.

  • Rs. 160/-
  • SC/ST candidates of West Bengal and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee.
