- Head Constable (Combatant Ministerial) (Direct Entry) : 158 Posts
- Head Constable (Combatant Ministerial) (LDCE) : 90 Posts
- Assistant Sub Inspector/ Stenographer (Direct Entry) : 21 Posts
- Assistant Sub Inspector/ Stenographer (LDCE) : 17 Posts
Salary/ Pay Scale :
- Head Constable (Combatant Ministerial) (Direct Entry & LDCE) : Level-4 in the pay matrix Rs.25500/- – 81100/- (As per 7th CPC)
- Assistant Sub Inspector/ Stenographer (Direct Entry & LDCE) : Level-5 in the pay matrix Rs.29200/- – 92300/- (As per 7th CPC)
Age Limit : (as per 1-1-2022)
- Head Constable (Combatant Ministerial) & ASI (Direct Entry) : Minimum 18 Years, Maximum 25 Years.
- Head Constable (Combatant Ministerial) & ASI (LDCE) : Up to 35 years for ITBPF Serving Personnel
Relaxation in upper age for reserved category will be as per reservation rules of Govt.
Education Qualification :
Head Constable (Combatant Ministerial) (Direct Entry & LDCE) : Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) Examination
Skill Test Norms
- Typing speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi corresponding to 10500 KDPH in English/ 9000 KDPH in Hindi with an average of 5 key depressions for each word on the computer.
Assistant Sub Inspector/ Stenographer (Direct Entry & LDCE) : Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) Examination
Skill Test Norms
- Dictation – 10mins @80 w.p.m
- Transcription – 50mins in English or 65mins in Hindi on a computer

- Physically Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Written Test
- Skill Test
- Document Verification
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
- Review Medical Examination (RME)
